Some coffees wake you up. Wallenford slows you down.

This is 100% certified Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee from the Wallenford Estate, one of the oldest estates in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, where the coffee grows high on steep, misty slopes and is picked by hand. It is given a medium roast, packed in Jamaica and vacuum-sealed, so the aroma stays locked in until the morning you open the bag.

The cup. Velvety and smooth, with delicate floral notes, a mild acidity and a clean, mellow finish. Taste it black first; it rarely needs anything added.

Why there’s so little of it. Blue Mountain coffee grows only in a small, certified area of eastern Jamaica, on slopes too steep for machines. Every cherry is picked by hand, and only a limited amount is produced each year.

Six 16 oz bags, whole bean

Questions people ask

Is it 100% Blue Mountain coffee?
Yes. It is labelled 100% Certified Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, with no blends and no fillers.
Whole bean or ground?
Both are here. Whole bean keeps its aroma longest; ground is ready for your brewer.
How should I brew it?
About 2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water just off the boil. Pour-over, drip and French press all suit it.
Are you an authorized seller?
Yes. We are an authorized online reseller of Wallenford and a Certified Distributor of Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee.

WHOLE BEAN OR GROUND?

Grind it just before you brew

For the best cup, choose whole bean and grind it right before brewing. The aroma stays locked inside the bean, and once coffee is ground it fades much faster.

Ground is here for convenience: if you don’t have a grinder, or the coffee is a gift. Keep the bag sealed, store it somewhere cool and dark, and enjoy it within a couple of weeks of opening.

HOW TO BREW IT

Getting the best cup

Start with about 2 tablespoons (10 g) of coffee per 6 oz of water just off the boil. Grind whole beans just before brewing: medium for drip, coarse for French press. Taste it black first: a mild, clean Blue Mountain coffee rarely needs sugar.

Using an AeroPress? Try about 15 g (2 rounded tablespoons) ground medium-fine, 7 oz of water just off the boil, a gentle stir, 1½ to 2 minutes of steeping, then press slowly for about 30 seconds. It gives a clean, smooth cup that shows off Blue Mountain coffee’s mild sweetness.
