Some coffees wake you up. Wallenford slows you down.

This is 100% JACRA certified Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee from the Wallenford Estate, one of the oldest estates in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, where the coffee grows high on steep, misty slopes and is picked by hand. It is given a medium roast, packed in Jamaica and vacuum-sealed, so the aroma stays locked in until the morning you open the bag.

The cup. Velvety and smooth, with delicate floral notes, a mild acidity and a clean, mellow finish. It rarely needs cream or sugar; most people who try it black keep drinking it that way.

“I’ve been drinking this coffee for 30 years and working with Sara and Barrington to obtain the very freshest roast available.”

Diamond J., verified buyer

Why two bags. The 2-pack costs less per bag than buying single bags, and the second bag stays vacuum-sealed and fresh until you open it.

Why there’s so little of it. Blue Mountain coffee grows only in a small, certified area of eastern Jamaica, on slopes too steep for machines. Every cherry is picked by hand, and only a limited amount is produced each year.

Why buy it from us. We are Barrington and Sara, the family behind One Happy Coffee. Barrington first tasted Blue Mountain coffee as a baby in Jamaica, from his great-grandfather’s cup, and we have spent about 16 years in coffee since. We are an authorized online reseller of Wallenford and a Certified Distributor of Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee, so every bag arrives genuine and in its original sealed packaging.

Questions people ask

Is it 100% Blue Mountain coffee?
Yes. It is labelled 100% Certified Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, with no blends and no fillers.
Is it JACRA certified?
Yes. Before any coffee can be exported as Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee, it is inspected and certified by JACRA, the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority. What JACRA certification means.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean keeps its aroma longest. Grind just before you brew, and keep the open bag sealed, cool and out of the light.
How should I brew it?
About 2 tablespoons of coffee to 6 oz of water just off the boil. Pour-over, drip and French press all suit it. Taste it black first.
When will it arrive?
This one ships from our US stock, usually in 3 to 5 days. The delivery time under the price is always the current one.
Are you an authorized seller?

WHOLE BEAN OR GROUND?

Grind it just before you brew

For the best cup, choose whole bean and grind it right before brewing. The aroma stays locked inside the bean, and once coffee is ground it fades much faster.

Ground is here for convenience: if you don’t have a grinder, or the coffee is a gift. Keep the bag sealed, store it somewhere cool and dark, and enjoy it within a couple of weeks of opening.

HOW TO BREW IT

Getting the best cup

Start with about 2 tablespoons (10 g) of coffee per 6 oz of water just off the boil. Grind whole beans just before brewing: medium for drip, coarse for French press. Taste it black first: a mild, clean Blue Mountain coffee rarely needs sugar.

Using an AeroPress? Try about 15 g (2 rounded tablespoons) ground medium-fine, 7 oz of water just off the boil, a gentle stir, 1½ to 2 minutes of steeping, then press slowly for about 30 seconds. It gives a clean, smooth cup that shows off Blue Mountain coffee’s mild sweetness.
